Is Your Diversity Initiative Like a Game of Telephone?
When I was in elementary school, we used to play a game called telephone, where people would stand in a line, one person would whisper a sentence to the person at the front of the line, and that person would whisper the same sentence to the next person, and that process would continue down the line. The last person would repeat what they heard., which was always totally different than the original sentence.
It’s funny when it’s a game, but when it’s related to diversity and inclusion/integration culture change, it’s serious.
